The Herbaliser get even more funky with this latest album, whilst still maintaining their organic hip-hop edge. The British B-boys are represented by Blade and the unique Roots Manuva, the latter lending his microphone stylin’ to the ultra laid-back Ballroom. Elsewhere the vibe swings from up-tempo funk frenzies to film score atmospherics. Despite their weakness for daft b-movie samples, The Herbaliser continue to represent a unique approach to this kind of live music, look out for their dates on Ninja’s No Skool tour throughout April and May.
