Belle and Sebastian labelmates Salako make blowsy but charming melodic indie-pop with a similarly quirky and gentle feel to the Scottish collective. This should appeal to a similar audience, alongside hardcore fans of  'Tigermilk', who will feel that this has the production ethos that made that album so special. The band make a point of the fact that the album evolved from recording sessions in a bedroom, newsagents, church and on a beach and that should tell all that you need to know about the 'kitchen sink' style on offer.
