Most people will associate Vangelis with his famous work on the Bladerunner soundtrack. ''Reprise 1990-1999'' gathers the master''s work from the last decade into a tasty package that is best described as music through images - listen and you''ll get the picture. The mood on the seventeen tracks gathered here varies - at times it is dramatic and rousing such as on ''Conquest of Paradise''. At others it is mournful and melancholic as evoked on ''Rachael''s Song''. In these days of meaningless pop saturation and perennial indie whinings, it''s satisfying to listen to music with space and depth. Put this on, lie down, close your eyes - let your mind wander.
