Lou Ciccotelli and Richard Olatunde Baker take African rhythmic foundations and twist them beyond their original forms to create atmospheric electronic soundscapes. These are, however, soundscapes carved strictly from percussive rhythm with little recourse to melody. Strictly for the avant-die hards, this is an uncompromisingly intelligent exploration of rhythmic possibility.
