Great title for an album. It's almost as if the comedian turned MTV presenter turned would-be pop star is anticipating the slatings his debut opus is going to get.
And while the South London geezer is doubtless a cheeky, chirpy, chancer and all round likeable chap, there's very little evidence here of the musical talent needed to achieve that Will Smith-style world domination he's being groomed for.
Blackwood's two singles 'Mama - Who Da Man' and '1,2,3,4 – Get With The Wicked' open proceedings, their good-time, R&B/disco style setting the tone for the rest of the album.
Or rather they are the best things here. Produced by Stargate (the Swedish knob-twiddlers responsible for stuff by Mariah Carey, Britney Spears and Backstreet) and Blackwood's uncle Junior Giscombe –whose 1982 hit 'Mama Used To Say' was sampled on his nephew's first single- 'You'll Love To Hate This' is a limp collection of R&B, soft soul, disco, ragga and rap with an Eighties feel which fails to engage at every turn.
With its emphasis on fun, summer beats for jeeps and swinging sounds for Streatham barbecues 'You'll…' has missed whatever seasonal boat it hoped to hop on.
And while this isn't the most offensive release of the year, there's very little here to recommend it. Except perhaps for the fact that the sadly forgotten Junior, whose sultry tones grace the smoochy 'Close To You', gets to be heard by a whole new audience.
Still, for Blackwood meanwhile there's always the movie career…
