Judging by the recent spate of quality break compilations, breaks have now gone mainroom.
Label behind of Freq Nasty, B.L.I.M. and many of the genre's main players, Botchit continue to meltdown the depths of bass as they take their sound to an increasing number of international venues.
Kicking off with Atomic Hooligan's deep down and dirty 'In It Together', the drum n bass beats then progress onto Soto and Amaziree's 'Hold On' classic. It's an unmixed album but tight as you like.
Rennie Pilgrim's break defining anthem, 'Paranoia' gets a remix from 10 Sui/Trigga, Electric Drive By, a 2 step minimal number from Mechanoise 2000 newcomers, Digital Pimp glides into the Master Blasters track with Aquasky, a faster, faster, kill, kill, kill track with spaceship control vocals, coupled with foxy bass rootings and the quality continues with Dee Kline and Morph's electro influenced 'Shake It'.
Backdraft's beats on 'Misconception' provide the backdrop for Country Culture's ragga ranting; the breakneck, weightdropping disco-dancefloor track, 'Fatburner' from B.L.I.M. and Chris Carter takes the compilation up to a more smiley, less bass driven showcase and the following tracks from Bionic, Chris Carter, Si Begg and Jason Sparks throw their muscle like High Rise at Home once did.
The players continue to cut it up properly.
