Following hot on the heels of their recent 'Drum & Bass Mix', West London's premier d & b crew offer another helping of surgically slick bassline bizznizz.
For this latest missive, the team have chosen eleven tracks, all notable for their smooth production edge and lavish musical contours.
Kicking off with London Elektricity's bootiful remix of Nitin Sawnhey's 'Sunset', the LP careens through a host of tasty funk and soul nuggets.
Mathematics steps up with the anthemic 'Feelin', the warm, euphoric vibes of which are matched by the string-driven 'Gotta Have Your Love' by Virtual Suspects (featuring Gwen McCrae).
Blue Sonix bring the more subdued but still rollin' 'Understand', while a surprise inclusion are Norwegian oddities Xploding Plastix, though it's easy to see why their wonderfully eccentric 'Treat Me Mean I Need The Reputation' is featured here.
Total Science's typically renegade outing 'Flip Flop' raises the heat levels, but Tony Colman's wobbly 'Synthetic', Quartz's deftly syncopated 'Your Love', High Contrast's super-mellow 'Fools Gold' and Danny Byrd's evergreen 'Changes' all maintain the pressure.
There's a second CD which features the same tunes plus a few others (Delta's
massive 'Roots', High Contrast's 'Blue Muse', Tomahawk's 'Milkshake') and is
mixed mellifluously together by man of the moment Calibre.
Overall this is another heady dose of Hospital food that's aimed at soothing your soul and moving your rump.
