Saturday night - fully scrubbed up and raring to go so we head to the home of the beautiful people at El Devino''s in Ibiza town. The club''s right on the waterfront looking out over the harbour which is packed full of multi-million dollar boats and yachts. In the club the air is a mixture of Issey Miake, Yves Saint Laurent, CKB...and the smell of raw sewage. The club might be full of beautiful people but there''s no getting away from the fact that venue must be near to a sewage outlet which wafts over a dreadful stench. An amusing irony amongst the expensive designer glitz.

Tonight it''s the MTV Chart Show which sees the lovely Donna Air interviewing the likes of Dina Carol, Byron Stingily and the other club ''faces'' who are in the house tonight. On the turntables it''s the turn of club legends and the stuff of many an Ibizan myth, Brandon Block and Alex P, to rock the show. They play their usual crop of up-for-it pumping party favourites and the punters lap it up. The club''s not as big as some of the other venues (600 max on the dancefloor) which makes for a more intimate atmosphere. Shimmy shim - off to the podium we go...
