Gig played on 13/11/1999
Venue: Fabric (London)

Fabric has just opened near the City in London and promises to deliver even more clubbing options for the capital. On the night dotmusic went to investigate, legendary New York based producer/DJ Francois Kervorkian was rocking the main room with his stripped down house, dubby beats and future disco. The club is a big rambling affair with the rooms off the main hall having a bare brick tunnel feel. The main room holds nearly a thousand people and has a very crisp sound system which was definitely being pushed to the limits by Francois K on the night. Alongside the also recently opened home, it looks like London's clubbers are spoilt for choice at the moment. Our dotmusic photographer took a sneaky look:

It's a big club with various tunnel style rooms and plenty of freaky dancers

With the right DJs tweaking the main room's sound system, Fabric is going to be the scene of some rather phat nights

Assorted punters contemplate the thought of the unisex toilets. Mrs Mop (on the right) has no such worries
