All Saints

)
Gig played on 26/08/2000
Venue: Creamfields (Liverpool)
Let's be honest(sic), even on a good day' when it comes to performing All Saints aren't exactly going to give Michael Jackson insomnia but their three-song set at Creamfields saw the quartet muster enough stage presence and personality to be upstaged by the cast of a primary school nativity play. After a brief false start due to technical problems, the girls launched into a lack lustre rendition of 'Lady Marmalade'. From here they veered off into a version of 'Walk This Way' that was so painful it would have had Steven Tyler spinning at light speed in his grave, if he were dead that is. With a finale of 'Pure Shores' proving the sets high point, the Saints exited the Radio 1 stage proving that a pop star without vocals on DAT is like Big Brother without Nasty Nick.
