You'd have thought that with PRML SCRM rocking it up on the main stage, that York boys Shed Seven would have been playing to a half-full house.
Not so. The Evening Session stage is the most rammed it's been all weekend and as the crowd sing along to James' 'Sit Down', and Andy Williams 'I Love You Baby', the atmosphere is electric. This is going to be a goodie.
Once prime contenders in the early Nineties with the Smiths-style delights of 'Dolphin' and 'Ocean Pie', the Sheds have petered out like Gene despite the Jagger-like charms of Rick Witter.
But as Witter says tonight, "It's almost like we've come home." The crowd go mental for the singalong anthems of 'On Standby', 'Chasing Rainbows' and 'She Left Me On A Friday' - classics all.
Proof that Shed Seven are very much alive and well and still 'Going For Gold'.
