The Cardigans arrive right on time and with a few snaps of the cymbal they're head long into a precision set.

Nina looks great in that most essential of Swedish accessories - leather trousers - a perfect compliment to the bassist's tight-fitting 'Huggy Bear' polo neck.

The tunes are all there but the only thing missing are the rough edges we expect from a Glastonbury set.

The crowd enjoyed the indie-pop revival of 'Rise and Shine', although it failed to live up to the band's promise to clear those nasty rain clouds.
