Graduating from the Other Stage is a definite plus for the Ash crew but sadly their loyal eternal-teen fans have failed to follow suit.

In their place are those who've just had the pleasure of Nelly Furtado and are awaiting the arrival of Coldplay. Make of that what you will. Needless to say Ash's quickfire pop punk romp coaxes little response from the punters intent on chilling out rather leaping around.

Which bizarrely seems to filter through to the band. 'Goldfinger', 'Walking Barefoot', 'Shining Light' and 'Oh Yeah' become the soundtrack to lazing around in the last of the day's sun. Relaxing rather than rawkus.
