This is typical Cypress Hill, sticking strictly to their unique formula of amusing and catchy rhymes. DJ Muggs doesn't get the chance to showcase the production skills that he's proved on alternative projects like his own Soul Assassins LP, and instead stays with the smoky-funky beats that always hit the right buttons. The video for this release has proved a favourite on The Box, topping the Box Breakers chart. Oh yeah, Dr Greenthumbs is,  of course, about weed - so really no changes at all.
