Glamma Kid – winner of best reggae act at last year’s Mobo Awards – drafts in Shola Ama for a cover of Sade’s 1985 hit Taboo. He’s hardly in the same league as the new generation of roots reggae stars like Sizzla, but has a highly effective style of delivery which helped last year’s Fashion ’98 to peak at number 49. The production avoids the heavy dancehall vibe and should allow the track to fare better than its predecessor.
