What is with french producers and the 80s?  They just can't get enough of that dodgy electro vibe and The Micronauts are no exception.  'The Jag' would be a cut above your average slice of retro-electro if were about half the length and consequently far more punchy and dancefloor friendly.  As it is, the first half of this track is really quite good, the second is totally unecessary.   Building up with some captivating, funky keyboard squelches into an uplifting crescendo of chords it all starts to go wrong when far too many sounds are introduced.   As someone in Detroit probably once said, "less is more."  JP
