Virgin pick up Daft Punk's remix of Scott Grooves' homage to Parliament Funkadelic for re-release. Why? Because they smell a big hit, after all this is the only production that the French duo put their names to in 1998 and every record industry excecutive knows that Daft Punk = dollar. Fair enough, after all this is a typically floor-filling electro-funk session which has already proved itself as a massive club hit for Soma, the Scottish label that originally commissioned and released the remix. There is a video waiting in the wings, so expect to hear plenty of this throughout the summer.  JP
