Following the phenomenal success of their self-titled debut album, the new Savage Garden single, 'The Animal Song', is finally released in the UK having been available on the Internet since Febuary when it was released in Australia.

Featured in the motion picture 'The Other Sister', this lively song should chart this weekend, and may finally push their last single 'Truly Madly Deeply' out of the USA Billboard Top 100 chart, following a year-long run in the Top 30.

'The Animal Song' is a successful combination of pop with a rock touch, very much like their previous singles. The lyrics are uplifting and positive, with a suitably memorable tune.

Definitely a song designed to brighten a bad day.
