Irish pop music is not only hugely popular at the moment but also makes bucket loads of cash for the record companies. It was only a matter of time therefore before a band like Celtus came along - it's too simple to say they're a male Corrs, but you get the picture. This has distinctly Irish backing vocals - all breathy in a Clannad sort of way - plus a memorable radio friendly chorus that will find a home on the more AOR friendly shows. Celtus beat Boyzone, U2 and the Corrs to the 'best Irish album' award last year so expect to see and hear plenty more of them soon.
