Double A-side pressure! As would be expected, 'Lovin' You' is a cover of the eponymous Minnie Ripperton classic. And guess what - it's actually a very good interpretation, even on those high notes which are not far off from being a scream. Also included is a Wyclef Jean remix of 'Lovin' You' which ups the pitch and adds some noises which sound like an ice cream van. On the B-side, 'What About' is a superb smoochy R&B rub. Sparkle's produced by R.Kelly so you know she's going to be a player. Hot new talent. MW
