South London's most famous Russian b-boy serves up some irresistible UK hip hop in this latest single which offers three tunes and mixes: 'It's Obvious', 'The Terrorist 'and lesser track 'Montage 004'. On 'It's Obvious' Vadim makes a wonderful taste decision in using Virginian MC and Canibus collaborator Blu Rum. Blu Rum's colourful rap slides lusciously over a slinky slice of cool hiphop rhythms and percussive twists. 'The Terrorist' is another gem, a hard-on funky scratch feast with spine tingling bass. This time the rap comes from Moshun Man, known for his classic work with Kool Keith and Masters of Illusion. Vadim will be touring in October and says he intends it to be a live hiphop show rather than DJ sets.
