Apollo 440 are in top rockin' form on new single 'Stop The Rock', a sort of pre-millennium Status Quo-ish, breakbeat driven stomper.  The band have been accused of sampling Status Quo on the record but they strongly deny it.  That said,  this track is a gloriously modernistic blend of an updated 'Good Vibrations' style warble meets Quo no-nonsense boogie.  Deft use of guitars, raspy vocoded vocals, scratching and warbling combine in a futro track extraordinaire.
