The debut single by the heavily-fancied Gomez - they were signed to Hut after an almighty scramble - is a leisurely-placed swamp-blues number in which two contrasting vocalists repeatedly divide the verse and chorus duties to quirky yet impressive effect.

Although not an obvious radio record, it's weirdly catchy, and demonstrates a musical maturity and eclecticism which suggests great things of their first album, out in April. Expect everyone to know their name soon.
