The first track to be taken from the eagerly-awaited album 'Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie' is probably the most obvious to lift as a single.

Co-written with Glen Ballard, it takes a few plays, but is a winner. A beguiling intro within a whisker of not being there at all gives way to verses that eshew bluster and blast in favour of meander and charm.

Alanis Morissette doesn't have to shout to attract attention but eventually (inevitably?) she does but not in the way 'You Oughta Know' spat bile from the speakers - it's more controlled and measured and ultimately more rewarding. A fine return.
