''Itza Trumpet Thing'' originally came out last summer and was a focal point of Norman Jay''s Notting Hill Carnival set (and this year too). It''s not hard to see why. The original mix starts of with a solid beat intro which soon dips into the atmospheric, trumpet driven breakdown. It''s very distinctive and comes back in with a booming bassline which takes its cue from speed garage. It might sound naff, but judging from some recent dancefloor observations it definitely works. The whole package comes with some meaty mixes from Judge Jules, Norman Jay, Hybrid and Future Perfect.
