It doesn''t matter how you felt about Phife''s lyrics/attitude in A Tribe Called Quest, it was never possible to deny the man''s talents. Let him off Q-Tip''s tight rein and it''s Smutty Ranks in da place and he''s telling the ladies to bend ova - but it''s even harder to have a problem with him. Strictly on the independent tip with production from Slum Village''s Jay Dee this is better than anything on the last ATCQ album. Ladies beware!
