''Banjo'' finally sees a release from Kevin Saunderson''s superb E-Dancer album project which seems like it was around an awful long time ago. A very fruitful exercise as it turns out, since the consistently superb Lars Sandburg is let loose on the remix commission in his Funk D''Void guise. Retaining plenty of the direct rawness of the original, he nonetheless spins the track out into a deeper and even more compelling club journey. As if that weren''t enough you get the authentic energy of the original - another timeless slice of Detroit magic.
