Diana Ross is a soul legend. She has been a singing for over 30 years, first with the Supremes in the Sixties, then going solo in 1970 and forging an illustrious singing, movie and TV career ever since. Her distinctive smoky voice is showcased in ''Not Over You''. The original Radio edit is a smooth laid back funky affair that allows her voice to soar - the shuffling backing admirably suits her soulful sound. There are also some obligatory dance remixes that up the tempo, foreground the drums and give the song a modern feel, but superclub house anthems somehow belittle her talents.
