This is a predictable pop performance from Jennifer Lopez - it promises much but doesn't quite deliver.

The song is taken from her two million selling debut album but doesn't have the sultriness that the lyrics - and indeed the CD cover and forthcoming video - suggest. Her pleasant though rather unremarkable voice doesn't quite carry off the love message.

Lopez's last single, top 5 hit 'If You Had My Love', was the stronger song, although 'Waiting For Tonight' has a pretty good chorus hook and the song is naturally splashed with Latin percussion.
