'Better Off Alone' with DJ Jurgen - Alice's last single - might have annoyed many with it's Fischer Price chord changes and Alice's childish sounding vocals. But there's no denying that after one hearing the tune was in your head like a bee trapped right in your skull. 'Back In My Life' is a similarly catchy pop trance ditty which will probably do the same chart damage and proves that no one does catchy trance like the Dutch. It's them we have to blame for the Vengaboys. Music for drunken Saturday nights in any town with silky shirts and glowing lightsticks. The pop trance invasion must be stopped at any cost.
