Garbage, of course, go all John Barry on this release for the forthcoming James Bond film of the same name, which must have been a lot of fun. However, the formula seems a little too easy. Perhaps they would have done better to rise to the challenge of doing something a little different, something a little more knowingly tongue-in-cheek. 'The World Is Not Enough' is a perfectly competent Bond theme, but it's no 'Diamonds Are Forever'. It provides an interesting starting place for an UNKLE remix though, fitting their epic beat orchestration perfectly.
