Sampling Carly Simon's 1982 hit of the same name seems a little redundant since A Tribe Called Quest stamped their unique mark all over it in the same way that, say Public Enemy did with the Lafayette Afro Rock Band's 'Darkest Light'. That is to say that it was done so well the first time around that anyone who tries it again is either reckless or stupid. Chances are that Glamma Kid falls into the latter category and is blissfully unaware of his musical faux pas. So ATCQ fans are left with an only-just-bearable track that reminds them of their once mighty, now fallen hip-hop teachers. A whole new generation of music listeners are like, "hey, what's that tune with the catchy hook?" And, someone, somewhere is making a lot of money…
