This Danish trio have served up a warm Danish pastry of a tunefest here. Solid breakbeats topped with a jammy concoction of samples, looped horns, yodelling, chopped up vocals, arcade machine noises and clever rhythms. But there's too much jam and not enough substance. They've worked hard on selecting sounds and layering them to give two urgent tracks and a darker, slower tune, but the tunes are not arresting, they sound very much in the UK breakbeat style of yore with nods to acts like Supercharger and Headrillaz. But hey, they haven't yet perfected the cooking up of a really good song - one which mixes all these ingredients and comes up with the kind of breakbeat concoction you can't get out of your head – but the elements are there. Sometimes the simplest foods can be the most enjoyable.
