Originally coming out in the early 90s on R&S, 'Kinetic' had THE distinctive synth riff which caused many a dancefloor scene and instantly beamed itself forever into the minds of millions. Flash forward to 1999 and the Distinctive boys have decided to commission new mixes, this time from Jensen & Carter and Commie. Jennsen & Carter's treatment bubbles along well to a cheeky swirling synth breakdown which is completely different from the original but still works. The Commie mix is a darker and harder affair which leads directly to the use of the original key structure and will introduce this excellent tune to a fresh new audience when it gets the inevitable Gatecrasher/Cream/home/Progress airings.
