Integrated Society, otherwise known as Johan S, has re-released his 1995 garage anthem 'We Lift Our Voices' – a favourite with Tony Humphries on its first outing and rated as one of the best garage tunes of that year. Johan has taken time off from a mad remixing binge for the likes of Todd Terry, Five, The Cardigans, Emilia and The Vengaboys, to put a little something extra to the tune and give it an end-of-the-millennium feel. On Part 1 Lisa Marie turns in a gutsy vocal performance on this uplifting, gospel tinged version while on Part 2 things get a little beefier with workouts from Groove Chronicles and those sunny characters Banana Republic.
