Label: nuphonic
Covering Talking Heads' 1980 classic 'Born Under Punches' as a second single is a clear statement of intent from Fuzz Against Junk who seem to be developing a good line in 80s retro. Perhaps next we can expect The Universal Robot Band. The whole of Fuzz's 'Born Under Punches' is re-created with live instrumentation and vocals from Andy Williams are delivered in a fitting style. So, who better to call upon for remix duties than a man with a great big, dusty 80s record collection – Harvey. He clearly relishes the opportunity. Barking his own David Byrne-style vocals into the FX-laden mix, he gives it a heavily dubbed-out work over. Coming off like a 90's 'Double Journey', this should rock discerning dancefloors.
