This record is a collaboration between Ericsson and Muzik and the idea is to showcase the cream of producers on the current deep techno scene. Artists gathered here are Eddie Richards, one of the stalwarts of the UK techno scene since its birth, Pure Science aka producer Phivos Sebastiane, Jason Welford and je-lo aka L.E.bass & J.Jeff. Deep techno is a spin off from the minimalist Detroit sound, keeping its empty feel but in a smoother and more progressive way. For those who like large beats, skittering hi hats and slinkier sounds, sometimes topped off with a tribal feel, all tarted up with samples and metallic techno synth riffs then this won't disappoint.
