Having already achieved prominence with the mighty 'Sacred' that filtered across on Combined Forces Import in the summer, Sander Kleinenberg releases his '4 Seasons EP'. 'Sacred' is featured here again in it's dub form, a beautifully crafted driving house piece (sampling Matthew Broderick from 'Ferris Beuller's Day Off' at the intro) that builds wonderfully. The electro arrangement creates it's own power, and is supported by smooth synth lines from the mid point. Of the three remaining tracks, 'My Lexicon' is the one attracting huge attention right now. Initially supported by Sasha and now spending it's third week in the Cool Cuts, it is a little more subdued than 'Sacred' (although by no means stifled), giving an air of real credibility in the production. And on the sleeve it says 'Part One of Three' - more to come perhaps?.
