I'm bypassing the Hex Hector mixes and even the rather disappointing offering from veteran Ralphi Rosario and heading straight for DJ Spen & Karizma's typically lush interpretation. Ideal peak-time fodder for the few clubs still holding onto the NY garage sound. Rosario's mix sounds like Satoshi Tomei did 5 years ago and Hex Hector's like Deep Dish when they developed their popular, harder sound. Are there no new ideas?
