Another tune from an up and coming film, this time Kevin Allen's 'The Big Tease.' The original is by Nellee Hooper, the other mixes are by Headrillaz and Alex Gopher and all three are as limp as a wet dishrag. The tune is loosely based around samples awkwardly and clumsily taken from 'Walking On Sunshine'. Everything muddles along and neither the Headrillaz nor Alex Gopher mixes improve matters. There are some interesting honking sounds and such like, but then the effect is ruined by a keyboard riff taken from an early 80s Howard Jones single. With Soul II Soul, Madonna and U2 production credits to his name, among others, Nellee Hooper should have done much better.
