Poor old Barbara Tucker. The inescapable forward march of time has forced the once Masters At Work-produced New York club impresario to abandon the rolling NY Garage rhythms of 'Beautiful People' and 'Stay Together', in favour of the high octane production of helium house.

The commercial mix from Full Intention pounds away with all the subtlety of the last tiresome filtered disco-house bore that you heard and sounds like it was produced by unusually talented lab rats after a three year course of daily amphetamine tests. Let's hope that Barbara's next release reflects the great music that she made in the mid-nineties and doesn't pander to this silliness.
