DJ Alex Gold's Xtravaganza label, flushed with success after the excitement of Chicane's Number One smash 'Don't Give Up' – which had the honour of knocking Madonna off the top - is back with another trance monster.

'You Put Me In Heaven With Your Touch' is a re-working of an 80s disco tune, originally penned by Manchester song smith Steve Burgess. Alex Gold immediately saw strong possibilities in the tune and took a trip into the studio with Lange to revamp the track using the main vocal hook in the sort of dramatic and catchy way that he's so good at.

The result is a vast, atmospheric trancethon that, unsurprisingly, is already featured on the Gatecrasher album and by the end of the year is bound to end up on a raft of compilations. It is perfect for the superclub, hands-in-the-air, mass hysteria vibe. It's anthemic, it's powerful and it deserves to smash it.
