Colin Lindo's Nubian Mindz project on the Italian Archive label has proved a fertile source of seriously deep techno gems over recent months and now steps up with a four-tracker in advance of the debut album, 'New World Chaos'. Raw, crunching, Detroit-style beats are played off by more organic skin-drums and gentle keys to hypnotic effect on 'Forgotten Parts'. Even deeper is the lush 'Old Lies' which combines splintered breaks with deep sub-bass to similar effect.
