Cleverly hand picking a stellar cast of collaborators has gained him a newly found kitsch credibility. From rocking out with the Stereophonics to getting all misty eyed with Cerys Mathews, he has covered all musical bases and the hits just keep on coming.
Going for the Nation's dance floors this time around, Tom has hooked up with the oh so Horny Mousse T for a slab of disco tinged, brassy, string driven house. But what should have been a low down dirty, steamy funk-fest is a little too sterile to raise the temperature and get you in the mood.
The track bounces along inoffensively enough, and the vocals are as professional as ever, but this is one Sex Bomb that never quite goes off. Who'd have thought that the man responsible for inducing lingerie slinging hysteria could be firing blanks.
