Are We Them, No Way Sis, Dred Zeppelin and other classics. You can have a lot of fun naming your tribute band, so why have Travis opted for a straight-faced moniker that seems to have no relation to The Byrds? Odd.
'Coming Around' makes up for this obvious oversight being, in effect, elements from The Byrds' 'Mr Tambourine Man', 'My Back Pages' and others, all put together with totally unique lyrics. And, of course, it's a jolly ditty destined for chart success.
Whilst we could whine on about the list of brilliantly imaginative and original UK acts never destined to pick up a mere tenth of the airplay that this single has already won, it seems more appropriate simply to point out that this is a great Byrds tributeā¦
