Hailed as the track that sees 2Step coming of age, it's difficult to see exactly what differentiates this from a clutch of other quality chorus-based garage productions. Certainly, it's impeccably produced and this is usually a considerable source of the garage appeal, but that's been done before.

'Neighbourhood' mixes taught syncopated beats with deep drum and bass-styled bottom end movements, ragga vocals and a hook-laden chorus. If there was any such thing as a summer to speak of, this would be the soundtrack bumping from every open-topped car on the road. But, unfortunately, it seems the label would need to put the release back indefinitely to pick up the sunshine vote.

Nonetheless, this has sufficient commercial appeal for it to see the rougher end of the garage scene making its debut in the charts.
