Fresh from his turn at old pal Ian Dury's tribute show, Robbie still seems to be singing Dury's songs whilst the producers have twisted the knobs around his vocals and rented a disco chorus to update the cheeky bloody cockneyness of it all.

Add in the bizarre flesh-pealing of the video and the George A Romero horrorshow of the CD cover and you have a rather confusing (lecturers read postmodern) package. It's certainly preferable to yet another ruthlessly simple and catchy ballad but it does leave you wondering what exactly the old boy's trying to say. Is he trying to scare all the girlies off? Or is it just the result of some focus group work gone horribly wrong?

Whatever, you've got to like it cause it's Robbie innit? Cheeky chappie, naughty boy, diamond geezer etc, etc….
