Jim and Eddie are putting Portsmouth firmly on the UK garage map this year, and this new single (already familiar to Wideboys aficionados no doubt)proves that the duo are right on it at the moment. The vocal mix is a jumpy, hook-filled song with those typical, Wideboys drums: crisp and strong.

But it's the dub that stands out by way of its experimentation. The beat programming is wicked: rolling with 'Nuyorican Soul' silkiness, with the kick of a Wookie rhythm. There's some juicy bass guitar licks, jazzy chords and great vocal hooks not to mention a sub hardcore b-line that'll rip up the floor.

Check for this mix without delay, as it's much more interesting than a lot of two step around at the moment, and offers something a little deeper, funkier and more progressive.
