Hook laden, rootsy, melodic rock from this Long Island quintet who scored a US smash with this track taken from their debut album 'The Madding Crowd'.

Nine Days apparently aim to combine the pomp of big-haired, Eighties stadium rock combos with the classic songwriting prowess of such masters as Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan.

They nearly succeed with 'Absolutely' an immediate singalong with MTV favourite stamped all over it and a tad reminiscent of the Spin Doctors or Semisonic.

Comes with an acoustic version of the song plus a gritty live version of album track 'Revolve', all fat and cheesy Hammond. meaty strumming and heartfelt vocals.
