Remember "dub house disco"? Well, this has the dub in the house, but forget the disco.
This is the second release for the new label, Ugly, and a new act, as well. One Mission is Will Hensel (of Rumblefish, Ugly's first release) and Matt Lloyd-Lewis.
'Herb Crawler' is a solid as a brick house thumper, packed full of dub dynamite, and ready to blow when the growling bassline ignites. 'Toxic' keeps a foot in the dub camp, with a fast-paced techno edge.
But the real gem here is 'Beelzedub', a dirty, lo-fi house-funk phenomenon. Ugly's lookin' pretty good from here.
